![]() Beyond the protective walls of Illumina Castle lie miles of pastoral, rolling countryside, though once a serene landscape, the Aklorian forces have transformed the countryside into a charred battlefield. Rent asunder by deceit and betrayal, the land cries out for a peace that only four united heroes can bring. When I was writing my review of the game, I felt constrained by the character limit, and a lot of what I had to say about the game was left by the wayside. Due to the fact I am not going to edit the English script inside the game, just add subtitles to the FMVs, the names will stay the same as the US version. Sudeki - Sudeki, a world torn apart into light, shadow and dark. nerf herder gullydwarf Registered: Sep 2010 From United States Posted NovemConsidering Buying Sudeki, when on sale, isn't a bad value for your money. Names were changed in the JP version, so for example, in this video, Tetsu was named Odin in the Japanese dub. The game is a little bit short, but not too bad. As such, the voice acting and subtitles may be inconsistant between each other. The bickering and jokes at other member's expense can have you chortling for hours on end. Tal is one of the main four protagonists of Sudeki, and is a soldier in the Illumina Army, and is shown to be skilled in the art of swordsmanship. As the spell is being cast, a narrow cone shows where the fireball will hit, allowing you to adjust Ailishs positioning to hit as many enemies as. Despite the annoying voice of Ailish, and the whole 'fear my giant fireball' type speech whenever you cast magic, it's fast, fluid and fairly enjoyable. and the sometimes horrifying voice acting will scare you away from attempting to lose yourself in the story by talking to all the people. For 30 Skill Points, Ailish can cast a fireball. It happens in realtime (with magic use creating a bullet-time like effect). One factor which adds immensely to the entertainment factor of the game is the way your party members aren't perfect friends. Sudeki is, unfortunately, more style than substance. The characters are able to combine their forces to produce super-strike attacks. Sudeki innovates through the use of realtime fighting scenes with combos, ranged attacks, evasion, the use of shields and Matrix-style effects including bullet-time. Fight arenas are not easy to pick, so you can sometimes get surprised at the worst of times, but this adds to the challenge. You control the four characters as a team in a full 3D world with a third person view. The puzzles and dungeons contain enough challenges to satisfy the thinking player, while the chance of being attacked at virtually any second can keep you on your toes. She is the princess of Illumina and the daughter of Queen Lusica, as well as being a gifted. ![]() The combat is marred slightly by an easy first-person style for your ranged characters: even teleporting enemies have trouble keeping up with them. Ailish Estdale is one of the main female protagonists of Sudeki. The game's combat system is innovative: in order to put out any reasonable damage, your mêlée fighters have to time combos by pressing the attack buttons at the right moment. This takes the goodness of an RPG and crosses it with the American trend of real-time combat, packed up in a cute anime-style package.
